2) extensions.conf
You can see a screenshot of extensions.conf
below. The first line in the context [test]
show that if somebody dials the number 102
his call will be connected with the user test
through SIP. Next line says that if the conversation
is over then Asterisk has to hangup the line
As you can see in this context there are
extensions for the number 104. So, if somebody
dials 104 his call will be connected with
the user test2 through SIP. You can set this
user(test2) to another softphone on another
workstation. Now if you dial 104 from your
Adoresoftphone with user test you will connect
the user test2. Again it`s a good idea to
add an extension for a hanging up in order
to be sure that when the conversation is over
the Asterisk PBX will hangup the line.
4. Adoresoftphone configurations
You don`t have to install this SIP softphone.
The size of the application is 550KB. It`s
only one .exe file. When you start it this
window will appear :

In the field SIP/IP Domain, write the IP
address of your Asterisk PBX. In our case
this is 10.3.3.35. Next field is the Account/Pin
field. Here you should write down the username
of the user which you have registered in the
sip.conf file. We have made this in section
3 - Asterisk PBX configuration. So according
to our example we write test. In the field
Password write the password(secret) that you
have for this user in sip.conf. In our case
again this is test
On the picture below you can see how the
softphone looks like:

The next step is very important. Click on
the Audio Wizard button. You will see a wizard
which will helps you to adjust properly your
microphone and speakers. Without this settings
you won`t be able to use the Adoresoftphone.

Click Next button. On the next window click
again the Next button:

Now you have to set what kind of device you
are using - USB or for example VIA. In our
case this is USB for both - microphone and
speakers. In your case it could be different.

Next step is to test whether you hear or
not something from your speakers. If you hear
a sound then click next. If you don`t hear
then go back and change the settings.

Next step - testing the microphone. Say something
into it. If the indicator goes into the yellow
area - everything is ok and you can go ahead
otherwise you have to go back and check your
settings for the microphone. If the settings
are ok click Next and then Finish

If there is something wrong when you click
the last Next button you will see the window
below and then you have to go back and check
your settings.

Now your Adoresoftphone is ready to be used.
